Annotation:

The central segment of Ajara-Trialeti folded zone is built up by Upper Cretaceous volcanogenic and carbonate rock units, Paleocene-Lower Eocene flish deposits and Middle Eocene sedimentary rocks. In the cross section of Upper Cretaceous-Eocene deposits are widespread facies types characteristic to frequent oscilation of the seafloor which is proved by paleoichnological data typical for the Middle Eocene time.
